The wait is over! And the wait begins again! After months of teasing, waiting, and speculating about the Farming Simulator 25 release date, the players have received some actual news. Now, all we need to do is…to wait some more.
GIANTS Software has announced that Farming Simulator 25 will be released on November 12th, 2024. It will be available on PC, Mac, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X. No PS4 or Xbox One release is expected.
This Farming Simulator 25 release will be yet another end-of-the-year title. Once the farm work ends in real farms – it will be time to get back to the Farming Simulator.
The new trailer shows rice fields, and an Asian-inspired map: meaning that Farming Simulator 25 will continue its mission of moving past offering European-type maps only.

Farming Simulator 25 will be released on November 12, 2024 – and such a date was easily predicted by many people. In a world where game production times keep increasing and titles get delayed, it’s always good to see GIANTS Software remain consistent and predictable.
What do we mean when we say that? It’s all pretty simple: you just need to take a look at previous releases of the game.

It makes sense: many Farming Simulator enthusiasts come from farming backgrounds. Releasing it at the time when the farming season is over just makes the most sense. Even since 2018, GIANTS seemed to have moved to a three-year game development window. So, even since FS22 was released, many expected the Farming Simulator 25 to be released in November 2024: which is exactly what’s going to happen!
With a three-year window, GIANTS has always had a deadline many expected them to meet. This release date feels obvious – because it was also expected. We hope that no unforeseen circumstances delay this game – and that the game is released without any major bugs or glitches.
But even if, after Farming Simulator 25 is released on November 12th, there are some issues – a massive modding community will be there to help test and improve this game with their creations.
Hard work for modders begins
Modding is an incredibly important part of the Farming Simulator series – and will remain incredibly crucial for Farming Simulator 25. The high standards, set by the modding world, have been important for both releasing timely bug fixes, and even offering features that make it to the newest versions of the game.
There are thousands of mods, created to work on FS22 – the previous version of the game. With Farming Simulator 25, many of these mods will get moved to the newest release.
