Field Health – Crop Diseases & Pests V1.4.1.0

Field Health – Crop Diseases & Pests V1.4.1.0

V1.4.1.0
Beans & Alpacas
Fixed: fungicide didn’t cure the banana and coffee diseases of the DLC. Field Health now leaves the DLC’s fungicide working as it was made to and only adds its own protection.
Bananas and coffee of the DLC no longer get threats of this mod, because the DLC has its own diseases for them.
With the DLC, the bottles and canisters of Field Health and the DLC’s fungicide work for both systems.

Compatibility
Savegames of all earlier versions load without any change.
Multiplayer: the server and all players need the same version (1.4.1.0).

Field Health: Crop Diseases & Pests
Field Health adds crop diseases and pests to Farming Simulator 25. The system is based on real threats found across Europe, with occurrence rates inspired by Polish agricultural data.
The mod is still in early development, so bugs and balance issues may occur.

Main Features
– Each growing field can receive one disease and one pest per season.
– NPC fields are not affected.
– 44 threats in total:
– 24 diseases
– 20 pests
– Includes powdery mildew, septoria, rust, fusarium, late blight, aphids, cereal leaf beetles, Colorado potato beetles, corn borers and more.
– Threats only affect compatible crops and growth stages.
– Fields split into parts with different crops are supported: threats stay on the crop of the season and never spread onto the other crop or bare strips.
– Risk depends on crop rotation, plowing, liming, mulching, fertilizing, weed control and weather.
– Diseases and pests begin in small patches, grow over time and can spread to neighbouring fields.
– Crop damage only occurs at severe stages, giving you time to react.

Treatment
– Fungicide cures diseases.
– Insecticide removes pests.
– Prefer one pass? With the “One spray for both” setting, either product cures and protects against both.
– One correct treatment protects the field until harvest.
– Spraying counts from one day before sowing, or any time after the harvest with the “Spraying before sowing” setting.
– Products work in normal sprayers, including sprayers from mods, with a visible spray.
– AI helpers only spray fields that require treatment (you can turn this off).

Crop Protection Products
– 1 L bottles, 5 L and 20 L canisters.
– Fungicide and insecticide available.
– Opryskex and MST brands.
– Concentrated products:
– 1 L fungicide concentrate creates 290 L of spray.
– 1 L insecticide concentrate creates 1,450 L of spray.
– Unloaded sprayer liquid is stored in 20 L canisters.

Field Monitoring
ESC > Map > Crop protection includes layers for:
– Protection
– Diseases
– Pests
– Disease types
– Pest types

A minimap layer can be switched with Left Alt + .
Field and farmland information also show additional health data, with notifications for new or severe threats.

Settings
33 settings in their own Field Health tab (ESC > Settings), split into sections:
– General: switch the whole mod, diseases or pests off, a calm start without threats in the first years, meadow threats, a threat limit per farm
– Chance of threats: disease and pest probability, influence of farming, weather, stubble and Precision Farming data
– Development of threats: speed, spread, patch size, spreading to neighbouring fields, crop damage
– Spraying and protection: coverage needed, protection duration, product usage, AI spraying only where needed, spraying before sowing, one spray for both
– Prices of all products
– Display: notifications and the lines in the field info

The system can be made easier, harder or disabled completely.
Every player can see the settings, but in multiplayer only the admin can change them (on a dedicated server, log in as admin first).

Languages
20 languages supported:
English, Polish, French, German, Spanish, Latin American Spanish, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Czech, Romanian, Hungarian, Ukrainian, Turkish, Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish.

The mod automatically uses your game language. Unsupported languages use English. The tables in the in-game help are available in English, Polish, German, French and Russian.

Compatibility
– Precision Farming support
– Highlands Fishing DLC onions supported
– Modded crops receive common threats such as grey mould and aphids
– Multiplayer and dedicated servers supported
– Mod data is stored separately from the savegame, so removing the mod does not break saves
– Updates preserve fields, settings and purchased products

Include your log.txt, map name, installed mods and steps to reproduce the problem.
Huge thanks to the whole MST crew (Mafia Solec Team), especially Bronczek and Jankus! A special shoutout to BMProd for the wonderful “Crop Diseases” mod, which inspired this project! And thanks to everyone who plays the mod, reports bugs and shares ideas.

Have fun and healthy fields!

V1.4.0.0
New settings (33 in total)
– Spraying before sowing (off by default): spraying a bare field after the harvest protects the next crop.
– One spray for both (off by default): fungicide or insecticide alone cures and protects against diseases and pests at once, so one pass is enough.

Split fields
– Fields split into several crops are handled properly. The crop that started the season keeps the field while it grows anywhere on it, and threats, damage and protection only count its parts.
– When that crop is harvested, the other one takes over the field and keeps its spraying.

Fixes
– After discing or sowing, the mod could still see the old crop and show a risk from its weeds or stubble. Fields are now read directly.
– Spraying right after sowing now counts.
– A field with a bare spot at its centre no longer looks empty.
– Stubble and rolling are no longer judged from one or two spots of a crop that has just come up.
– The Field Health settings tab no longer opens another mod’s page when several mods add tabs.
– The expected harvest in the field info only counts the part of the field with that crop.
– A clear warning in the log when the game could not register fungicide or insecticide (limit of 255 fill types).

Compatibility
– Savegames of all earlier versions load without any change. Both new settings are off, so nothing changes until you switch them on.
– Multiplayer: the server and all players need the same version (1.4.0.0).
