Converting a Farming Simulator 22 mod to Farming Simulator 25

Mod conversion is almost a ritual – it happens every time a new game is released, and the community is waiting for any information and updates that will let them know what changes with the latest version of the game.

When Farming Simulator 25 will be released, it will already have a pretty massive mod library. That’s because for several games now, existing mods from the series go through a conversion process – where they are rebuilt in order to work on the newest game. This entire journey is usually made as simple as possible: because GIANTS Software, creators of the game, are very obviously interested in keeping their game loaded with mods and their modding community happy.

Just like previously, converting FS22 mods to FS25 will be relatively simple. The game engines are very similar. The GIANTS Editor, updated just before the new game comes out, helps do most of the work for the people looking to update their mods. We expect the same to happen this year, too. After all, continuity is what helps to keep the community around: and mods are a very important part of Farming Simulator’s success.

However, due to updates in textures and processing, we expect to see some badly done FS22 to FS25 mod conversions. On our site, we will post the approved and well-optimized converted mods, so you can download and use them without having to worry whether they really work.
