How to install Farming Simulator 25 mods

Install FS25 mods on PCs

If you downloaded a mod folder with files, copy, and paste them into this game directory of your computer:

• XP/Windows 10: User\My Games\FarmingSimulator25\Mods
• Vista: Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2025\Mods

Note: German directory/folder names will be slightly different.

Windows 10 and later open ZIP files with no issues, but for RAR files, WinRAR or any other similar software is required. These programs work with ZIP files, too.

Install FS25 mods on MAC OS

To install mod on mac, you need to copy the ZIP file into the directory/folder here:

• /Library/Application Support/FarmingSimulator2025/mods

The directory/folder for mods on the App Store version of Farming Simulator 25 is here:

• ~/Library/Containers/com.focus-home.farmingsim2025/Data/Library/Application Support/FarmingSimulator2025/mods

The most popular Farming Simulator mod file types are:

RAR – another type of compressed file. When the download is completed, you’ll have to extract the files using the RAR extractor software. What you’ll get there will be either ZIP or EXE files. Then, open and/or run them.

ZIP – compressed files, which have been reduced in size to make the file smaller. Open the folder to see what files are inside. If you get EXE files, simply double click to run.
