Not every mod has to have a massive impact on the game. Sometimes, it’s the little things that make the biggest difference.
One of the things that always felt strangely missing was something as simple as knowing what day of the week you’re actually on. You could look at the in-game calendar, but there was no real sense of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday. It’s such a small detail, but when you’re trying to plan your farm, your week, or simply immerse yourself in the game, it makes a difference.
That’s where Ali3ns Real Calendar Mod comes in.
Real Calendar adds real dates and days of the week directly into your Crop Calendar menu and also displays them on your main console/farm information display.
Nothing complicated. Nothing game-changing. Just a simple addition that makes the world feel a little more complete.
Now you can actually keep track of your week and plan your farming life around it.
Maybe Monday is the day you plan the week ahead.
Maybe Tuesday is when you focus on the fields.
Maybe Friday is the day you finish up the work early.
And perhaps Saturday is the perfect day to forget about the farm for a few hours and go fishing.
It’s these little details that can make roleplay and immersion so much better.
Real Calendar isn’t designed to completely change the way you play Farming Simulator. It’s designed for those players who appreciate the smaller details, enjoy a little extra immersion, and simply want their in-game calendar to feel more like a real calendar.
And this is only the beginning.
There are a lot more and much greater mods currently in development, including projects that will add completely new features and possibilities to your game.
I’m also currently looking for beta testers to help test some of these upcoming projects, including Animal Auctions, the other auction-related mods I have in development, and several other exclusive mods that are currently being worked on.
Beta testing will be a great opportunity to get involved early, try out upcoming features, find bugs, provide feedback, and help shape these mods before their full release.
So while Real Calendar may be a small mod, there’s a lot more coming.
Sometimes the smallest additions make the biggest difference.
