Farming Simulator 25: Everything You Need To Know Before Release
Farming Simulator 25: Everything You Need To Know Before Release
Farming Simulator 25 has been announced – and we are already counting the days before this game is officially released. In this article, we will discuss the announced features and answer some of the most important general questions that any player looking to play this game must have. Let’s get to it so you can learn about Farming Simulator 25 before its release.
Is Farming Simulator 25 coming out? Announced features and updates
Farming Simulator has been announced to come out on November 12th, 2024. It’s just around the corner! Some of the game’s features have already been officially announced – let’s look at them now.
In addition to everything we know and love about the previous game, Farming Simulator 25 will include new crops to grow, such as spinach and rice. Rice is especially interesting – you can use some rice-specific agricultural techniques, such as flooding the fields.
Rice growing also means that Farming Simulator 25 will dedicate additional focus to a brand new region: in the latest game, you can try yourself out on East Asian maps. European and American maps will still be available. Livestock more suited for Asia will also be available – you can raise buffalo on FS25.
Visual features will also get an update. Ground deformation and dynamic weather effects are coming to FS25, which is bound to offer a more realistic field response to rain and prolonged machinery use. Updated GIANTS Engine 10 will focus heavily on distance fog and enhanced shadows while remaining completely mod-friendly and keeping the game extremely customizable.
The list of available machinery is also increasing—we can expect several new brands to come to the game. Over 150 brands are confirmed, an increase from the last game. Spinach and rice are new crops, meaning we will also see plenty of new machinery focused on them.
However, since FS25 will remain completely mod-friendly, the actual list of machinery in the game will stay much larger, thanks to the various mods created by the community.
As for the other features, expect more new crops to be announced. Asia is much more than just rice! Plenty of popular crops, either exclusive to or very popular in Asia, must be included for a lifelike Asian farming experience.
New production chains and construction missions will also be added, allowing you to move beyond regular farming and create your own farm-to-anything experience.
Overall, we expect Farming Simulator 25 to be another gradual improvement over the previous game. However, the improved visuals and a brand-new Asian gameplay experience make this a must-buy for any hardcore fan looking to do more than before.
We can’t wait to see what modders do with this game and improve the Farming Simulator 25 experience even further.
Who is developing Farming Simulator 25?
Just like every previous Farming Simulator game, Farming Simulator 25 will be developed by GIANTS Software. While the previous games focused on European and North American locations, the FS25 release will also include East Asian maps, letting you travel around the world – and experience different challenges when building a successful farm.
Who publishes Farming Simulator 25?
GIANTS Software is both a developer and a publisher of Farming Simulator 25. One previous title, Farming Simulator 20, was published by Focus Home Interactive SA, a French company. However, GIANTS Software is responsible for developing and publishing its star game itself.
What languages will be supported in Farming Simulator 25?
Farming Simulator 25 will be supported in these languages: English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Czech, Dutch, Hungarian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Turkish, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish, Thai, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese.
What is the release date of Farming Simulator 25?
Farming Simulator 25 will be released on November 12, 2024. This continues GIANTS Software’s trend of releasing Farming Simulator games once every three years in the last quarter of the year.

FS25 Gameplay and Demo
The Farming Simulator 25 demo has still not been released, but from the early data, we can tell that the farming game will follow the same pattern. That means an open farm setting, allowing a player to be either a protagonist or an observer. The biggest difference will be the highly updated graphics engine.
Will Farming Simulator 25 be available on mobile?
Farming Simulator 25, with all the newly-released features, won’t be released on mobile. That’s because Farming Simulator Mobile is a separate game – with slightly different gameplay and features. Farming Simulator 23 Mobile is the latest FS game, created specifically for mobile devices and Nintendo Switch. To play this game, you will need to buy the game separately, on the App Store (for iPhones), or the Google Play Store (for Android devices). This game is also available as a part of Netflix’s mobile game library, so if you have an active subscription, check it out.
As you might expect, the newest Farming Simulator on mobile won’t have quite as many features or mechanics as the desktop version, and there is no in-depth modding functionality that made this series so popular.
Will Farming Simulator 25 be on iPad?
Farming Simulator 25 will not be released on iPad. For iPad users, there is a separate Farming Simulator Mobile game. Despite the iPad’s solid processing and graphics power, there is no way to play Farming Simulator 25 locally. However, if you have a Netflix subscription, you can play Farming Simulator on iPad for no extra cost.
Will Farming Simulator 25 be on Nintendo Switch?
Farming Simulator has only been announced for PC, Mac, and Xbox Series S/X consoles. No Nintendo Switch port has been announced, and the first-generation Switch will only be able to download and play the stripped-down Farming Simulator 23 Mobile.
Switch 2 is coming soon, and there is a chance that Farming Simulator 25 will be optimized and made available on Nintendo Switch 2 (or whatever it will be called!) So far, it’s only speculation and no details have been shared.
Will you be able to play Farming Simulator 25 offline?
We expect the Farming Simulator 25 offline experience to be identical to the previous FS game: if you purchase FS25 through Steam, you must have an online connection to launch it. You must also be connected to the internet to make the best out of the game and use ModHub. However, online connection shouldn’t be required for your regular everyday farming tasks as long as you find a way to launch it. Saves should remain fully local.
Can I play Farming Simulator 25 for free?
No, Farming Simulator 25 will not be available for free, or as a free trial demo. You must have a working and approved copy of the game to make the best of it. Luckily, the mods, improving the base game, will remain completely free. We will collect and offer you the best Farming Simulator 25 mods on this site.
Should you buy Farming Simulator 25?
Farming Simulator 25 is still in progress, and there is no telling how it will look and play when it is released. However, GIANTS Software has a pretty good record of delivering its promises, and the games tend to get better with time.
If you have a solid enough computer to make the best out of updated graphics features or want to try brand-new Asian farming experiences, buy Farming Simulator 25. The bugs, if any, will get squashed soon after release, and a modding community will offer all the fixes and feature improvements you may want.
Can you play Farming Simulator 25 online with multiplayer?
Farming Simulator 25 offers an in-depth online playing experience, letting console and PC players play with friends. The multiplayer mode is expected to hold at least 16 players simultaneously. You can tackle Farming Simulator 25 together with friends, either working in unison or competing to find out who is the best.
Whenever a new player wants to join your farm, a game leader can let them in or refuse entry. No one can make major changes to your farm or drain funds – making the multiplayer experience safe and enjoyable.
Is there a Farming Simulator 25 multiplayer for Xbox?
Yes, there will be a Farming Simulator 25 online multiplayer mode for PCs and gaming consoles, such as the Xbox.
